HCMC’s first metro line project nearly 92% complete
Nearly 92% of work on Ho Chi Minh City’s first metro line, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, has been completed so far, with efforts to put the line into commercial operation by the end of 2023.

Last trains for HCMC’s first metro line arrive
The last two trains out of the total 17 for Ho Chi Minh City's first metro line, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, docked at the metropolis’s Khanh Hoi port on Friday after a week’s voyage at sea from Japan.

First HCMC metro line delayed until end-2023
The development of Metro Line 1, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien, in Ho Chi Minh City is set to complete in the fourth quarter of next year, two years later than scheduled, city authorities said.
