The firm received the land lots from Hanoi-based N&G Corp, investor of the Hanoi Supporting Industrial Zone (Hanssip) in the capital city’s Phu Xuyen district.

The whole project is expected to employ 20,000-25,000 people and produce 32 million items a year, equivalent to 20,352 tons.

It will produce and export smartphones, servers, computer accessories, electronic circuit boards, traffic cameras, wireless headphones, wireless speakers, audio systems and other products.

The first phase of the project will cover 17 hectares with an investment of VND1,000 billion ($39.79 million).

At the land delivery ceremony, Inventec noted Hanssip was chosen as a suitable destination after the firm had surveyed several areas across the ASEAN bloc and India.

The firm lauded the facility’s advantages of synchronously developed infrastructure including staff housing, healthcare centers, kindergartens and primary schools.

Inventec received its investment certificate for the project in September 2023.

Founded in 1975, the Taiwanese firm has grown to earn annual revenues of around $20 billion
