Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed a decision to make the center part of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), said Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Center Director Nguyen Bay.

The center includes its head office covering more than 1,100 square meters, and the 54-hectare QTSC Binh Dinh Park, both located in Quy Nhon town.

"The inclusion of the center into QTSC aims to attract investment and further develop information technology toward the establishment of an AI center in Quy Nhon," he said.

The Binh Dinh People's Committee has approved FPT Software as the investor for a project the Vietnamese software giant will use as a center for research, production, and training.

The corporation plans construction via three phases - until Q4/2025; Q1/2026 to Q4/2028; and Q1/2029 to Q4/2030.
