Dai Dung Corporation, a major construction company in Vietnam, is developing its environment-social-governance (ESG) ecosystem toward 2030, amid trending sustainable growth in the country.

As ESG is key to long-term business growth, Dai Dung built factories running on green energy per the Leed Gold 4v standard in 2019-2020. Besides, the firm has prepared for waste treatment to contribute to environmental protection per current regulations in their production areas.

Dai Dung has invested in charitable programs, fund raising, support for charitable homes, and facilitation of education and livelihoods for generations. Per Vietnam’s tradition of helping needy people, Dai Dung said it is committed to continuing humanitarian activities in remote areas.

Corporate governance is a top priority at Dai Dung. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to ensure growth, Dai Dung has focused on developing corporate governance and workforce training.

Toward 2023-2027, Dai Dung set key directions to become a world-class business and deliver projects featuring ESG factors.

First, Dai Dung will focus on training its employees to become elite workers with continuous innovation and self-improvement.

Second, the company will invest in production lines and upgrade supply chain management, in order to provide high-quality services and products, serving foreign markets.

Third, the firm will push re-investment and maintain its financial resources, towards an initial public offering (IPO) in 2023.

Fourth, Dai Dung will enhance corporate culture building per its core values of aspiration, innovation, prestige, quality, sharing, and humanity.

Fifth, developing green energy projects, utilizing renewable energy, and recycling are key in serving production and construction.

Sixth, digitalization in governance and completion of digital transformation of its platform in 2023-2024 is a major target.

Seventh, the firm aims to reach $1 billion and beyond in revenue as soon as possible.

Eighth, Dai Dung eyes a profit margin of at least 6% on revenues of VND6,000 billion ($253 million) this year, and better results in the following years.
