The Investor (theinvestor.vn), an online English-language business publication in Vietnam, was launched on Wednesday.
The publication, under Vietnam's Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), aims to serve foreign investors, foreign invested companies, and Vietnamese enterprises that have ties with foreign parners and markets.
The launching was part of the 5th anniversary of Nha dau tu (nhadautu.vn), The Investor's Vietnamese-language sister site.
Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc sent congratulatory letters to the organization.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, editor in chief, said Nha Dau Tu, after five years of development, has become a forum for investors to actively contribute to improving policies and disseminating laws and regulations, thus improving the local business climate.
"The publication has also been supporting and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of investors and businesses. Since the very beginning, it has been positioned as an in-depth and reliable information channel. Our journalism philosophy is defined as Information for Prosperity."
