Pizza 4P’s makes $4.6 mln after-tax profit in 2023, up 38%

Pizza 4P's, a popular Vietnam-based pizza chain, earned post-tax profits of VND115.3 billion ($4.58 million) in 2023, up 38% year-on-year.

Pizza 4P's, a popular Vietnam-based pizza chain, earned post-tax profits of VND115.3 billion ($4.58 million) in 2023, up 38% year-on-year.

The firm recorded an owners’ equity of VND267.3 billion, up 75.9% year-on-year. Meanwhile, the liabilities-to-owners’ equity ratio fell to 0.78 from 1.51 in 2022, according to its filing with the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

However the firm’s return on equity ratio decreased from 0.55 in 2022 to 0.43 in 2023.

Pizza 4P’s has posted post-tax profits for the second year in a row after losses in 2020 and 2021 due to the negative impacts of the Covid-19.

Pizza 4P’s was founded by a Japanese couple in Vietnam in 2011. It has since expanded to 31 outlets nationwide, focused particularly in the major localities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Danang and Khanh Hoa.

Outside Vietnam, Pizza 4P’s operates one restaurant in Cambodia and another in Japan; and is planning to open one soon in India.
