Quang Nam authorities are seeking investors for a 120ha resort and eco-tourism project named Go Ry-Go Dinh in the central province's Dien Ban district.

The project aims to create "a unique tourism product" that will harmoniously combine construction with the nature of the Thu Bon river area and local cultural values.

Of the VND1,440 billion ($63 million) in expected investment capital, $10.5 million will be spent on land clearance, including compensation, while the remaining $52.5 million used for construction. The minimum equity of the project is estimated at $9.5 million.

The complex, with a lifespan of 50 years, is expected to open by 2027, after 6 years of construction.

Quang Nam People's Committee has assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to publish criteria for selecting investors on its portal.

Quang Nam, with a 125km coastline, is well-known for its beautiful beaches and the Cu Lao Cham islands, recognized as the world's biosphere reserve with diversified ecosystems. It is also home to ancient town Hoi An, a UNESCO heritage site.

Attending the National Tourism Year event in Quang Nam on March 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasised the importance of creating a "green tourism" environment to attract visitors and promote sustainable development.

Vietnamese private company Capella Group JSC in March proposed become the investor of the Tay Ba Na eco-tourism resort. The 4,333ha project is located in Dong Giang district.
