The Centara Life Vung Tau with 261 rooms and Centara Residence Dio Dua with 536 rooms, both in Vung Tau town, are set to open in the first quarter of 2027.

In Quang Ninh’s Van Don district, Crystal Holidays Harbor Van Don will open a second tower, called Tower B, with 496 rooms in Q2/2025.

Complimenting Tower A, the new facility will offer a variety of dining options, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and inviting swimming pools, the firm said.

Vietnam welcomed 1.51 million foreign visitors in January, up 10.3% from December 2023 and 73.6% from January 2023. The figure is the highest since March 2022 when Vietnam fully reopened its tourism sector after the Covid-19 pandemic and equivalent to pre-pandemic January 2019.

Thailand was the ninth-biggest market source in January with 41,000 foreign arrivals; behind the top four of South Korea (418,000); mainland China (242,000); Taiwan (84,000); and the U.S. (76,000).
