Toyota Land Cruiser lowest-selling vehicle in October

Only nine Toyota Land Cruisers were sold in the month, two Prado and seven 200 GX 470 models. 

The data does not include VinFast and Hyundai, which are not VAMA members.

Other cars with low sales last month were Suzuki Ciaz, a sedan, with eight; and Honda Accord, also a sedan, with 14; Suzuki Swift, a hatchback, with 20; Ford Explorer, a SUV, with 46; and Suzuki Ertiga, a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) with 46.

Some vehicles with no sales in October included minibus Toyota Hiace, MPV Toyota Granvia, pick-up truck Toyota Hilux, sport utility vehicle (SUV) Ford EcoSport, and others.

In the first 10 months of this year, models with low sales were Granvia with five; Hilux with 10; Ford Tourneo, an MPV, with 24; Hiace with 36; and Ciaz with 36.

The total sales of VAMA members increased 52% year-on-year to 332,963 in the first 10 months of the year. They included 259,928 passenger cars, up 73% year-on-year; 68,498 commercial vehicles, up 6%; and 4,537 special-purpose vehicles, down 1%.
