Vietnamese electric vehicle startup VinFast has launched its second showroom in Canada, planning to open six more in the North American country over the rest of the year.

The latest showroom, also a service center, is located at CF Carrefour Laval, considered the largest shopping mall in Quebec, Canada's biggest province.

Available at the VinFast Carrefour are all-electric SUVs VF 8 and VF 9 of the C and D segments, the firm said Thursday. On its website VinFastAuto.ca, customers can also reserve the two models.

VinFast announced on November 16 the opening of its first Canada showroom, located at Yorkdale Shopping Center in Toronto, Ontario.

The carmaker shipped the first EV batch (999 cars) to the U.S. last week, saying its first customers in the market would receive their EVs by the end of this December.

The U.S. is VinFast’s first export market, while the others include Canada, France, Germany, and the Netherlands.
