Multi-sector corporation T&T Group has received the government okay to build a 193-hectare industrial park in Long Xuyen town, An Giang province.

Following Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh's approval, An Giang authorities have ordered the southern province's Economic Zone Management Board to work with the investor on identifying the project's investment capital.

It said the project, named Vam Cong Industrial Park, must be completed within 36 months since land is handed over to the investor.

The government also requested An Giang to ensure the project matches the pace of urbanization and demand for construction among residential areas near the industrial park.
