Workers in Vietnam will have seven days off work in April and early May to celebrate the Hung Kings death anniversary, Reunification Day and International Labor Day.

The Hung King anniversary falls on Sunday, April 10, so workers will not have to work on Monday, making up for the weekend day under the law. In total, they will have three days off on this occasion.

Similarly, they will have a four-day holiday from April 30 to May 3 for the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) events.

According to a plan approved by the Prime Minister early this year, employees  will have 22 days off work in total in 2022.

Apart from those days, foreign workers in Vietnam are allowed to have one day off for their traditional New Year holiday and another for their home country's National Day.
