AIA honors outstanding healthiest schools - Season 3
Sowing the seeds of healthy living habits for future generations is the inspiring goal of the AIA Healthiest Schools (AHS) initiative, launched by AIA Group across the Asia-Pacific region.
Over three years in Vietnam, the program has attracted more than 600 participating schools, helping to build a health-conscious educational community focused on students’ physical and mental well-being.
Recently, AIA Group officially announced the top-performing schools of Season 3 – outstanding educational models that are gradually reshaping the way thousands of students across the country live, learn, and love.

The UK Academy Da Nang made a lasting impression with its submission, “A Sustainable Journey Towards a Happy School.”
AIA Healthiest Schools – Promoting healthy living from classrooms to communities
Launched in 2022, AHS is a unique educational initiative by AIA Group in Asia-Pacific countries, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles within school settings. Targeting students aged 5 to 16, the program promotes four key healthy habits: balanced nutrition, regular exercise, mental well-being, and environmental protection.
AIA Healthiest Schools is more than just a competition; it offers a comprehensive educational platform that provides vibrant teaching materials to support integration into school activities and empowers students to practice healthy living every day.
Participating schools are invited to develop actionable plans that engage students, teachers, and parents in promoting the values of physical and mental wellness throughout the community. Entries are evaluated based on four criteria: scope of implementation, level of engagement, community impact, and sustainability plan.
In just three seasons, the number of participating schools in Vietnam has nearly tripled, surpassing 600. Many projects not only succeeded in positively changing students’ behaviors but also created ripple effects in their local communities, fostering a humane and positive school culture.
Inspiring healthy living projects
Judge Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen shared: “This year’s submissions were not only diverse in format but also rich in message. Many schools demonstrated creativity, collective mobilization, and clear community impact.”
This year, AIA officially announced the schools that made it to the list of Vietnam’s Healthiest Schools.
In the Primary School category, the National First Prize was awarded to the UK Academy Danang. The Second Prize went to three schools: Vinschool Grand Park Primary School (Ho Chi Minh City), Vinschool Ocean Park 2 Inter-level School (Hung Yen province), and iSchool Soc Trang International Integration School (Soc Trang province).
In the Lower Secondary School category, the National First Prize was awarded to Times School Khai Son (Hanoi), while the Second Prize went to three schools: Olympia Inter-level School (Hanoi), Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) - Ba Thang Hai Campus (Ho Chi Minh City), and Hy Vong Secondary and High School (Danang city).
Impressive projects leave a mark
Among the outstanding projects, UK Academy Danang made a powerful impression with their entry titled “A Sustainable Journey Towards a Happy School.” This well-organized and creative project placed students at the center, having a wide-reaching impact on families, schools, and the local community.
With a dual focus on mental well-being and a sustainable environment, UKA Danang developed a series of diverse activities, from healthy school meals and light physical activities to emotional care practices and practical environmental actions. Throughout the program, students played a leading role, supported enthusiastically by teachers and parents.

Times School Khai Son was impressed with its integrated classroom model, which promotes mental development. Students used “emotion boxes,” wrote gratitude letters, practiced mindful breathing, and shared weekly reflections with teachers.
Schools - The starting point for healthy living with AIA
A representative of AIA Vietnam stated: “Schools are one of the most solid foundations for nurturing a generation that is physically and mentally healthy. This year’s entries reflect the exceptional efforts of teachers and students across Vietnam. They are the first seeds of lifelong healthy living that AIA is committed to cultivating through the AIA One Billion initiative.”
After the national results were announced, the two most outstanding representatives from Vietnam will compete at the regional Asia-Pacific round, with results expected on July 3, 2025. Winning schools will also be honored at the national award ceremonies to be held in August in three cities: Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
More than a competition, AIA Healthiest Schools is gradually shaping a renewed educational community, where every school becomes a hub for promoting healthy habits, and every student becomes a seed of positive change for society.
