Japan-Vietnam consortium registers to build 1.5-GW LNG power plant
A consortium between Tokyo Gas and Marubeni Corp. of Japan and two Vietnamese firms has received a business registration certificate from Quang Ninh’s administration for its 1.5-gigawatt LNG-to-power in the northern province.

Petrovietnam subsidiary PV Power has agreed on a 30% capital contribution to a consortium that will build a $2 billion LNG-to-power complex in Quang Ninh province, northern Vietnam.
