The main lobby, office, elevator interiors, and pantry in The West building at 265 Cau Giay street in Hanoi have all been comprehensively renovated as part of the new owner’s plans to upgrade tenant experience and deliver improved service quality.

The West, one of Hanoi’s iconic office buildings, in the capital city's Cau Giay district, opened in 2019.

Since then, the building has attracted attention with its strategic location in Cau Giay as the western gateway to Hanoi, the center of technology, and economic heart of the city, where businesses and bustling streets converge.

The West conveniently connects to surrounding districts and the major ring roads leading to industrial zones and neighboring provinces. It also enjoys the advantage of having a metro stop station at its very doorstep.

The lobby has been given a new look with white, ivory, and bronze tones, creating a spacious, modern, and luxurious feel, while harmonizing with natural light. A professionally designated management team has been brought in to deliver an even higher level of service to go hand in hand with the upgraded facilities.

According to the professional management team’s representative, with the complete service overhaul and comprehensive upgrades bringing a new elegant and modern appearance, The West affirms its position as a Grade A service quality office building, and a strategic partner of domestic and international businesses in the west of Hanoi.

The building also scores highly with modern, high-end equipment, green technology, and a 24/7 intelligent security system. Its fire alarm and automatic fire-fighting systems comply with stringent international standards to give its tenants the peace of mind knowing that safety and security is of paramount importance.

The West aims to achieve LEED certification in 2024 - a certification that mandates the use and implementation of sustainable policies including energy saving measures, operational efficiency, environmentally friendly materials, and health conscious services and experiences for its tenants.

Nine high-speed elevators and a cargo elevator meet the demanding needs of a modern day office building, and four basement levels are equipped with an intelligent parking control system.

The office block uses soundproof and thermal insulation glass to provide thermal and acoustic insulation for tenants, with a flexible ceiling structure and high-quality air conditioning system.

The West is home to a diverse range of top-quality amenities including cafes, diners, gyms, spas, health clinics and markets.

The building has 38 floors, including office space and commercial space for lease. With over 25,000 square meters of office space and 15,000 square meters of retail space, The West has ample space in flexible configurations for both companies and retail stores of all sizes.

In October 2022, Gateway Hanoi Joint Stock Company completed the acquisition of the building. At the end of May 2023, Gateway Hanoi renamed the center as The West, marking the beginning of The West’s repositioning and transformation to being one of Hanoi’s premier commercial official buildings.

In early March, Gateway Hanoi organized an event "Meeting Strategic Partners", to introduce the public to its leasing partners and lay its plans and roadmap for The West. It was the first public event since its acquisition, and a significant milestone for its strategic cooperation with The West's partners.

"Through our brand repositioning strategy and program to meet important partners, Gateway Hanoi aims to increase and capitalize on the competitive advantages of The West office building, enhance customer experience, and continue to attract more domestic and international businesses," said Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, a representative of Gateway Hanoi.
