Brokerage SSI seeks to build industrial park in Khanh Hoa

SSIAM, a wholly owned arm of securities company SSI, on Saturday signed a partnership agreement with Shinec JSC to explore a 620-hectare industrial park investment opportunity in Khanh Hoa province.

Ninh Son IP in the south-central province, home to Nha Trang Bay, will mostly accommodate tenants involving pharmaceutical production, geriatric nursing services and medical care.

Under the deal, SSIAM will oversee fulfilling procedures for an investment license, while Vietnamese firm Shinec make surveys and technical designs for project application and development.

SSI, Vietnam's leading brokerage, also agreed to assist IP tenants in making capital mobilization plans and finance tenants who are Shinec partners.

The management board of Van Phong Economic Zone said it has proposed Khanh Hoa People’s Committee approves the zoning for Ninh Son IP.

SSIAM is one of the leading investment funds in Vietnam, with extensive experience in fundraising and investing in the financial markets.

Shinec is a professional in investing, developing and operating IPs in Vietnam. Of these, the 457-hectare Cau Kien IP in Haiphong city is a pioneer eco-industrial park in the country.

Cau Kien IP phase 1 with 103 hectares for lease has been fully occupied by 60 domestic and foreign enterprises. Shinec is implementing the 85-hectare second phase.

Shinec is a strategic partner and a major or monopoly distributor of Alphanam Group’s products like Kansai paint, Toto sanitary ware and FujiAlpha elevators in northern Vietnam.
