Thuy still sits on the Hanoi-based bank’s board of directors as vice chairwoman. Thuy, daughter of former SeABank chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga, was appointed CEO in 2018.

She holds the largest stake among board members with nearly 40 million shares, equivalent to 2.69%.

French banker Faussier was appointed by the bank’s board as senior deputy CEO on June 20. Before that, he had served as an independent member of the board for the 2018-2023 term.

Born in 1972 in France, Faussier has 24 years of experience working in banking and finance at Citibank, HSBC and other international financial institutions.
