As a result, Apple Pay allows clients of the six banks to use Visa cards to make payments. VPBank also accepts Master cards.

Apple's presence in Vietnam is growing, and the arrival of Apple Pay is in line with this development. The giant launched its online store in the country in May.

With Apple Pay now available, those customers who want to use the mobile payment option can do so after adding their supported cards to the Apple Wallet app. Then they can simply put their iPhone near a contactless card reader, make confirmation via Face ID or Touch ID, and make a purchase.
