State Securities Commission names new vice chairman

Bui Hoang Hai, general director of the State Securities Commission’s (SSC) securities public offering management department, has been appointed vice chairman of the commission.

The SSC held a ceremony on Friday to announce his appointment by the finance minister.

Hai, born in 1976 in the northern province of Hung Yen, is an expert in public policy. He started his career at the SSC’s securities issuance management department in April 1997. Four years later, he was appointed deputy head of the department’s appraisal division 2. In January 2008, Hai became deputy head of the department.

He took on the position of director of the SSC’s securities business management department in July 2015 and then director of the securities public offering management department in November 2019.

Currently, the State Securities Commission’s leadership includes chairwoman Vu Thi Chan Phuong, and vice chairmen Pham Hong Son, Hoang Van Thu, and Bui Hoang Hai.
