Thaiholdings dismisses two deputy general directors

Thaiholdings JSC, a Hanoi-headquartered multi-sector investment company, has approved the dismissal of deputy general directors Trinh Van Thiem and Vu Ngoc Dinh from May 25.

Thaiholdings JSC, a Hanoi-headquartered multi-sector investment company, has approved the dismissal of deputy general directors Trinh Van Thiem and Vu Ngoc Dinh from May 25.

The duo will be moved to the company's subsidiaries. 

Trinh Van Thiem, born in 1980, held the position of Thaiholdings' deputy general director from February 2021. Before that, he was a senior leader at many firms like Kaito Cement Co., Ltd, Xuan Thanh Binh Phuoc JSC, Kaito Cement Ha Tien JSC, and Thaigroup Binh Phuoc Company Limited.

Vu Ngoc Dinh, born in 1980, was appointed general director of Thaiholdings from April 2021. In July 2021, he returned to the position of deputy general director.

Thiem and Dinh are currently board members of Thaiholdings, listed on the Ho Chi Minh City as THD. By December 31, 2022, they had both held 539,000 THD shares, equivalent to 0.15% of the company's charter capital.

Previously, Phan Manh Hung, deputy general director and chief accountant of Thaiholdings had been appointed general director starting from January 1, 2023.

At the end of 2022, Thaiholdings announced the decision to dismiss Nguyen Van Dung as general director from January 1, 2023 for personal reasons.

Dung was general director of Thaiholdings from July 5, 2021, replacing Vu Ngoc Dinh. He is also a board member of Thaiholdings.

In 2022, Thaiholdings' senior personnel constantly changed as the company dismissed and appointed a series of board members, deputy general directors, and members of the supervisory board.

In 2022, the company achieved net revenue of VND4.11 trillion ($175.17 million) and post-tax profit of VND301 billion ($12.8 million).

The company aims at a consolidated net revenue target of VND3.27 trillion ($139.35 million) in 2023, equal to 79.6% of 2022 and consolidated after-tax profit of VND241 billion ($10.26 million), equivalent to 80% of 2022.

THD shares were priced at VND39,900 ($1.7) a pop at Friday's closing session.
