Victoria School starts first school year in HCMC

A school inauguration ceremony welcomed more than 1,000 participants, including students, parents and many prestigious educational institutions at home and abroad.

The event marked an important milestone of Victoria School in the pursuit of UNESCO's Happy School model, opening the first school year with many promises.

Le Thuy My Chau, deputy director of the HCMC Department of Education & Training, said: "The school was established to help the education and training sector in Ho Chi Minh City have a new learning environment for children. I think no matter how adequate the facilities are, it is only a requirement, sufficient conditions to improve the quality of teaching and learning are important factors.

"To strengthen the brand of the school in the following years, it still depends on the efforts of the school board, teachers and students. I have a confidence in the school’s education quality in the coming time."
