Vietnam gasoline prices up, oil down

Retail gasoline prices in Vietnam increased by VND540-620 ($0.03) per liter on Monday after a hike last month, while the prices of oil went down by nearly VND1,000 ($0.04).

RON 95-III gasoline went up to VND23,760 ($1.01) per liter, while E5 RON 92 hit VND22,860 ($0.97).

Kerosene decreased by VND980 to VND21,590 ($0.97) a liter, while diesel oil fell by VND960 to VND21,560 ($0.96) per liter. Mazut oil went down by VND300 to VND13,630 ($0.58) per kilogram.

For this price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to extract VND200-600 VND per liter from different types of oil for the petrol price stabilization fund.
