New law on telecoms seeks to protect user rights, facilitate industry development

The amended Law on Telecommunications, approved by the parliament on November 24, applies a “light management” approach which is open and flexible, aiming to protect users' rights, ensure safety and security, and facilitate the development of services, wrote Anh Dang, a senior partner at VILAF law firm.
