Bamboo Capital, subsidiary Tracodi repeat presence in Vietnam’s top 500 firm listing
Bamboo Capital Group and its subsidiary Tracodi are featured again in VNR500, a list of 500 biggest firms in Vietnam compiled by ranking and research company Vietnam Report.
Vietnam Report and VietNamNet newspaper announced the 17th edition of the list Thursday. It marked the seventh year in a row that Bamboo Capital and Tracodi are featured in the list.

In compiling the list, Vietnam Report analyzed businesses’ performance and financial data including total assets, owners’ equity, revenue, pre-tax profit and post-tax profits in 2022 and the first nine months of 2023. Bamboo Capital jumped 54 ranks from 157th to 103rd in the latest list.
Overcoming challenges of the last two years, Bamboo Capital posted a strong performance and maintained the stability of key businesses, including renewable energy, construction and infrastructure, real estate, financial service and insurance, and manufacturing.
Its subsidiaries – BCG Energy, Tracodi, BCG Land, BCG Financial, AAA Insurance, Nguyen Hoang, and Tipharco Pharmaceutical – also marked strong market performances.
The firm’s diverse portfolio has built up a strong ecosystem with complimentary supply chains, facilitating sustainable growth.
Its strong performance has been recognized by several prestigious domestic and international awards.
In October 2023, Bamboo Capital won a Corporate Excellence award at the Vietnam chapter of the Asia-Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2023. Last year, the group made its fourth consecutive appearance in Vietnam Report’s Profit500, a list of 500 firms with highest profits in the country.

Tracodi, a Bamboo Capital subsidiary, was placed 207th in the VNR500 list. Tracodi is among a few contractors with top-tier certificates for construction capacity and capability for executing large-scale projects including roads as well as civil, industrial and energy facilities.
At the moment, Tracodi is constructing real estate and energy projects in the Bamboo Capital ecosystem, including major ones like the Phan Thiet airport in the central province of Binh Thuan, an urban area and a lake in the northern province of Bac Giang, a road connecting National Highway No.3 and Vo Nguyen Giap street in Hanoi, and a part of package No.12 of Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang Expressway.
Senior executives said the consistent presence of Bamboo Capital and Tracodi in the VNR500 list reflects their effective operations over many years, including flexibility to adapt to economic challenges amidst a slowdown in the global economy and other adverse developments.
