Vietnam’s tech giant FPT Corporation recently worked with Discovery Channel to film a 30-minute documentary entitled 'Silicon Delta - The story of Vietnam's Technology Revolution'.

It portrays the desire to make Vietnam a leader in technical abilities in the world, transforming the country into a destination for innovations with inspiring stories of corporate success.

The documentary features the participation of senior leaders of FPT and member companies, such as FPT chairman Truong Gia Binh, FPT Software chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha, FPT deputy general director and FPT Software general director Pham Minh Tuan, deputy general director of FPT Software Nguyen Khai Hoan, and FPT Software artificial intelligence director Nguyen Xuan Phong.

One of the most prominent themes in the episode is FPT's key decision to follow an 'Export software or die' model. The FPT leader believes this is the only way for the company to survive and work as a game changer in the nation's destiny.

“From sixties to eighties, constantly there's constant hunger," said Truong Gia Binh. "I just need some companies to help us survive. That's why we are FPT."

In addition to exploring past and present innovations, the film will also feature some of the new technology projects that FPT is promoting, such as artificial intelligence, cars, semiconductor chips and other digital and green transformations, helping shape the future not only of the corporation but also of the entire country.

The documentary will air at the end of September this year on Discovery Channel in many regions including Asia-Pacific, Japan, and Germany.
