HCMC chosen by AI as top destination for unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration
Ho Chi Minh City, known for its vibrant nightlife and stunning fireworks, has been ranked third among the top 10 global destinations for an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration, as selected by AI technology.
Digital travel platform Agoda utilized AI technology to compile a list of the ultimate global destinations for New Year's Eve celebrations. The list caters to both partygoers and families, promising scenic views, electrifying parties, and an unmatched vibe to welcome the New Year.
From the iconic fireworks over Sydney Harbour to the legendary ball drop in Times Square, the list features a range of cultural experiences and breathtaking displays. It includes revelling the night away in Rio de Janeiro or embracing the traditions of Edinburgh's Hogmanay.
According to Lam Vu, country director Vietnam at Agoda, the list aims to inspire and ignite a sense of wonder among aspiring travellers. Whether it's a short getaway within Asia or a trip to the other side of the world, Agoda provides the best deals for all.
HCMC, ranked third on the list, is recommended by AI for its festive atmosphere, fireworks over the Saigon River, and vibrant nightlife in District 1.
Singapore secured the top spot on the list, offering travellers a chance to marvel at the dazzling fireworks display in Marina Bay and indulge in vibrant street parties and carnivals. Bali, Indonesia takes second place, with beachside celebrations featuring festive fireworks and traditional Balinese performances.
Travellers looking for a cultural experience are encouraged to visit Tokyo, Japan, where they can embrace the Japanese tradition of watching the first sunrise of the year, alongside cultural celebrations and modern countdown parties.
Other destinations on the list include Sydney, Australia, famous for its world-renowned fireworks display over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House; New York city, U.S., where visitors can join the masses in Times Square for the iconic ball drop or attend countless parties and concerts throughout the city; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to enjoy the vibrant energy of Copacabana Beach with samba rhythms and spectacular fireworks show.
