The annual ranking is conducted by Thien Viet Securities JSC and Nhip Cau Dau Tu (Investment Bridge) magazine.

It followed international standards and took counsel from financial experts at Thien Viet Securities, Vietnam Investment Group (VIG), Vietnam Capital Partners (VCP), Harvard Business School, and other foreign business organizations.

To objectively assess the governance capacity of enterprises, the panel of judges evaluates business results over three consecutive fiscal years, based on three indicators: revenue, return on equity and earnings per share.

Top50 companies this year are major businesses in key sectors like banking, production, retail, healthcare, and aviation, with pacey and sustainable growth.

"Featuring in the Top50 demonstrated BCG’s endless efforts and the trust and support of stakeholders, customers, and partners," the group said in a release.

The corporation earned after-tax profits of VND885.32 billion ($35.65 million) on revenues of VND3,311 billion in the first nine months of the year, up 26.24% and 73.81% year-on-year, respectively.

By September 30, 2022, BCG’s total assets were VND43,752 billion ($1.76 billion), up 16.1% compared to the beginning of the year. Owner equity jumped 63.3% to VND13,634 billion ($549 million) after the nine months.

BCG shares closed up 3.97% to VND7,850 ($0.32) on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange on December 2.
