The high-end resort in the central city of Da Nang will welcome and serve all Ironman athletes coming from across the world, with its top-notch service, modern facilities, authentic cuisine and luxury accommodation.

The event (May 5-8) attracted 2,500 international and domestic athletes, of whom more than 1,100 are Vietnamese - a record high.

“While striving to deliver exceptional service, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa also places a strong emphasis on the safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues,” it said in a release.

By acquiring GBAC STAR™ Facility Accreditation from Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa said it assures all Ironman athletes will enjoy a luxurious and safe experience while staying at the resort, enabling them to perform at their best during the race.

GBAC accreditation is a performance-based cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program that ensures a clean, safe and healthy environment for the resort's guests and customers.
