PV Gas D partners with Shinec to distribute clean energy at industrial parks
PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution JSC (PV Gas D) and Shinec JSC on Monday signed a cooperation deal to develop natural gas/LNG distribution systems at industrial parks and clusters developed by the former.

Initially, the project will be implemented at the Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park in Hai Phong city, before expanding across Shinec’s entire industrial ecosystem during the 2025-2030 period.
Hai Phong-headquartered Shinec is currently investing in eight new industrial parks (IPs) and clusters (ICs) in the country, all designed according to eco-industrial and circular economy models, according to chairman Pham Hong Diep.
"Our cooperation with PV Gas D will not only help these IPs and ICs meet green development standards through the use of renewable energy, but also create dual benefits - reducing carbon emissions while generating opportunities to profit from the carbon credit market," Diep told the signing ceremony.

Le Minh Hai, chairman of PV Gas D, said: “From the Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park in Hai Phong city to projects in Quang Ninh, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, and Hau Giang provinces, we share the same mission of building a sustainable, modern and green industrial ecosystem aligned with ESG standards and the global energy transition trend."
"The partnership between Shinec and PV Gas D is expected to lay the foundation for a clean energy infrastructure network at Vietnam’s industrial parks, contributing to energy security, emission reduction, competitiveness improvement, and green investment attraction.
The signing ceremony marks another important link in Shinec’s strategic cooperation chain with leading partners to promote energy transition and carbon reduction in industrial development.
On September 29, Shinec and Stavian ED signed a strategic cooperation agreement to implement carbon reduction solutions at Shinec’s IPs and ICs - including the Dam Ha Industrial Cluster in Quang Ninh province.
Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly invest in rooftop solar systems, solar-powered public lighting, BESS FARM energy storage systems, and green electricity supply through the Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) mechanism, as well as promote energy transition via the LNG supply system invested by Stavian Gas JSC.
Earlier, on September 17, Shinec held a working session with the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) on developing the Eco Energy Industrial Park Center (EIP Center) model - a hub for research, pilot implementation, and scaling of industrial-renewable energy-low carbon technology integration.
These initiatives mark important steps in Shinec’s journey to make its industrial ecosystems not only greener in production but also a key supplier of clean energy to localities and enterprises within Vietnam’s national green value chain.
