They include a THB7.55 billion facility by Telehouse (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan’s KDDI Corporation; and a THB9.09 billion facility by Vistas Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China’s ZDATA Technologies Co., Ltd. and its Singapore-based unit ZDATA Cloud Technology Pte. Ltd.

The others are a THB26.7 billion facility by NextGen Data Centre and Cloud Services Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dubai-based DAMAC Digital; and a THB54.9 billion facility by Zenith Data Centre and Cloud Services Co., Ltd.

In addition to the new projects, the BOI granted six new licences to revive previously stalled initiatives worth $9.2 billion, which had faced delays due to challenges in power access, industrial land availability, and visa and work-permit processing.

BOI Secretary General Narit Therdsteerasukdi said the measures aim to strengthen investor confidence and support employment and broader economic development in Thailand.
