Located on the 7th floor of a building on Hang Dau street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, The Rhythms Restaurant came in 15th.
“The restaurant concept is formed in harmony with the rhythms of the King’s Symphony, showcasing an orchestra of Vietnamese authentic cuisine embellished with the grandeur of royal ambience,” Tripadvisor wrote.
“The blending of sophisticated Western architecture with local heritage has created a beautiful melody, expected to touch the emotion of guests and take them on a unique sensory journey.”
The restaurant highlights traditional Vietnamese cuisine while pushing an ingredient-driven menu that showcases local farmers and national heritage. It provides views of the Hoan Kiem Lake and nightlife activities in the Old Quarter.

Cloud Nine Restaurant on the 9th floor within La Siesta Premium Hotel on Hang Be street in Hanoi’s Old Quarter ranked 24th.
“To be on Cloud Nine is to be in a blissful state of happiness. A number of conflicting theories abound as to the origins of this phrase,” Tripadvisor described.
“One of the most popular attributes it to the fluffy white cumulonimbus. This is the ninth cloud out of ten types first identified in the 1896 International Cloud Atlas which rises as high as a cloud can go, hence the sense of being on top of the world.”
The restaurant’s classical style is reminiscent of the Indochina era with black, white, blue-gray and cream colors.
The winners of the awards have been decided by an algorithm that analyzes the millions of reviews and ratings collected in a year from travelers around the world. Each winner has passed our rigorous trust and safety standards.
Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.
Japan’s Ise Sueyoshi Restaurant was named the best in Asia, followed by India’s Avartana and Thailand’s Akira Back.
Vietnam’s cuisine reputation has grown in recent times. Last June, four Vietnamese restaurants - Hibana by Koki, Gia and Tam Vi in Hanoi and Anăn Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City - were recognized with one Michelin Star for the first time for their high-quality cooking and outstanding culinary experience that is worth a stop when travelling to Vietnam.
Last month, CNN named Hibana by Koki as one of 20 best eateries in the world.
