Binh Nguyen, founder and CEO of LadiPage Vietnam JSC, suddenly passed away at the age of 37, leaving behind an unfinished dream about the journey of a startup that is gradually asserting its position and on the way to realizing its billion-dollar dream.

"Enthusiastic" and “dedicated” were just some of the terms used to describe the founder of iSocial, the number one online marketing community in Vietnam.

As simply the founder of the iSocial community, a marketing forum with nearly 300,000 members, and passing away at a relatively young age, Binh Nguyen did not leave behind many regrets. His 37-year journey was short but worth living, as people say

"Businesses only need to pay heed to networking activities and social network groups to take care of customers as well as promote their brand. By doing these two things, they will grow sustainably," Binh Nguyen said in a podcast on Youtube.

The above comment encapsulates Binh Nguyen's entrepreneurial journey with the LadiPage Vietnam brand in the online marketing market.

Realizing the e-commerce development potential in Vietnam, Binh Nguyen started a business and led LadiPage Vietnam to impressive success.

At a time when almost no one in the technology and marketing world knew what a landing page was, LadiPage Vietnam captured opportunities and helped small- and medium-sized enterprises and individual business groups in Vietnam create more than 3.5 million landing pages and nearly 450,000 orders per day, more than 300 data centers globally, and seven data centers in Vietnam.

The firm also cooperated with more than 319,912 customers, including high-end partners such as Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, Google Cloud, Vingroup, VNG, Golden Gate, and Maritime Bank.

With the slogan "Just 5 minutes to have a beautiful landing page", LadiPage was considered the leading landing page development platform in Vietnam, and held a desirable position in the field of e-commerce.

In 2019, Binh Nguyen published the book "From heard to mind - Reading tastes and guiding purchasing behavior", with in-depth content on advertising activities, especially the most effective content-creating methods using psychological levers. The book made an immediate splash in Vietnam's business and marketing community.

In the eyes of friends and colleagues, Binh Nguyen was not only a successful CEO with his startup, but also an inspirational person, driven by enthusiasm and commitment. He was willing to share 10 years of experience in online advertising and e-commerce, and was always socially active.

He contributed to many community programs, most recently the charity program "Million hearts, one will", targeting the “white-blouse frontline soldiers” who were fighting day and night during Covid-19 to bring health and peace to people, especially disadvantaged children.

Unfinished dream

The young CEO's inspirational life is over, but his journey will continue with his colleagues and friends.

"When I founded LadiPage, I didn't think too far ahead; I just wanted to bring practical values to support my customers. Actually, at that time, I had not thought about a larger business model with a longer vision. Only when the media called us a million-dollar startup did I think about letting investment funds value and develop our startup," Binh once said.

His intention became true when in September 2021, NextTech Group and Next100 Ventures investment fund of shark Nguyen Hoa Binh officially announced an investment in LadiPage. LadiPage has become an international brand with cooperation and business expansion to Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

LadiPage also launched a starter package using LadiBoost products indefinitely free of charge to help promote the digital transformation development of businesses and the e-commerce community.

"The biggest dream is to build a technology solution that can help Vietnamese startups reach the world. LadiPage is indirectly realizing that dream, but I still want a direct solution and a journey to build a Vietnamese brand of global stature together with customers, partners, and the community," Binh Nguyen said about his dream.

On June 8, 2024, the Vietnamese online marketing community confirmed Binh Nguyen’s death. Binh Nguyen, whose real name was Nguyen Thanh Binh, was born in 1987 in the northern province of Phu Tho.
