Andy has been with Bamboo Capital, listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) as BCG, for nearly a decade. He has served as a board member since May 2021, according to a company release on Wednesday.
He joined Bamboo Capital in 2016 as project director and later held several key positions, including a member of the supervisory board at Bamboo Capital and BCG Energy (registered on the Unlisted Public Companies Market (UPCoM) as BGE), and an independent board member at Tracodi (HoSE: TCD) and BCG Land (UPCoM: BCR).
Since July 2023, Andy has been chairman of BCG Land – the real estate arm of Bamboo Capital. He is also CEO of BCG Eco, a company established by Bamboo Capital in 2024, operating in forestry and carbon credits.
He boasts extensive experience in financial consulting, insurance, and real estate. Prior to joining Bamboo Capital, he was co-founder and CEO of Singapore’s A Consulting Group Pte. Ltd. from 2014 to 2016, where he played a key role in establishing partnerships with Singaporean and Vietnamese investors.
Since joining Bamboo Capital, Andy has been an important bridge in the group’s joint ventures, international collaborations, and digital transformation projects.
With a strong professional background, rich international experience, and a deep understanding of the Vietnamese market, he is expected to continue enhancing corporate governance, applying advanced management and investment models, expanding international cooperation, and increasing competitiveness of Bamboo Capital in the next phase of development, the firm said.
Bamboo Capital involves real estate development, construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, and insurance, with over 60 subsidiaries and affiliates.
The group earned profit after tax of VND844.8 billion ($33.68 million) on consolidated net revenue of VND4,372 billion ($174.32 million) in 2024, up 393.8% and 9% year-on-year, respectively.
