Vietnam mining group Vinacomin appoints new CEO
Vu Anh Tuan, a board member of state-owned Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (Vinacomin) has been appointed general director, starting from last Monday.

His term of office is five years, with a monthly salary of VND33.8 million ($1,330). Tuan replaced Dang Thanh Hai who recently retired.
Before being appointed to the board of members at Vinacomin, Tuan was Party chief of Quang Ninh Coal Company in Quang Ninh province cum deputy general director of Vinacomin. He was also a member of the standing committee of Quang Ninh’s Party Committee.
Tuan was born in 1968. His hometown is Truc Ninh district, Nam Dinh province.
Vinacomin, also known as TKV, now has one general director and four deputy general directors, namely Phan Xuan Thuy, Nguyen Tien Manh, Tran Hai Binh and Nguyen Huy Nam.
