Vietnam scores Asia's best golf destination 2022 title
Vietnam has been honored at the 9th Annual World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony as the Asia's Best Golf Destination 2022, an award it had won for the sixth year in a row.

Notably, at this year's awards, Vietnam Tourism Golf Association (VTGA) received the "World's Best Golf Association 2022" title while the Els Performance Golf Academy won the "World's Best Par 3 Golf Course 2022" prize.
According to the Vietnam Sports Administration, Vietnam currently has 80 18-hole golf courses in operation and the figure is expected to rise to 200 by 2025.
In July, Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau and BRG Danang Golf Resort in Danang city were listed among the world’s top 100 courses by Golf Digest magazine.
The Bluffs is ranked 65th and BRG, 99th. Courses from 25 different countries are listed in this year’s rankings.
Vietnam received 2.36 million international arrivals in the first 10 months of the year, 18.8 times year-on-year, but down 83.7% compared to the same period in pre-pandemic 2019, the country's General Statistics Office (GSO) data shows.
Tourism revenues in the period reached VND19,700 billion ($792 million), 3.9 times year-on-year.
