It aims to deepen and expand exchange and cooperation on arbitration among China and ASEAN countries, promoting the establishment of a China-ASEAN commercial arbitration cooperation mechanism and the settlement of various trade disputes and improving the level of market operation facilitation, and providing high-quality, efficient and professional arbitration-related services and support for China-ASEAN trade and regional economic development.

The center applies a cooperative model of co-construction. Initially, it will form 11 agencies and units, including an arbitration association of Guangxi, the ASEAN Law Association, and the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
