Beach resort Nha Trang to host sea festival next year
Khanh Hoa province plans to organize the 10th edition of the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival from June 3-6, 2023, themed "Khanh Hoa-Aspiration for Development".

The event will have grand opening and closing ceremonies; artistic light shows; street festivals, art shows; public performances, exhibitions, sports and education related activities, scientific conferences and culinary shows.
Main festival venues in Nha Trang include: April 2 Square, Young People football field, Bird's Nest Park and the park along the coast of Tran Phu street.
Districts, townships and towns in the south-central province will also organize a number of activities suitable to the conditions, strengths and potentials of each locality.
Flowers on hills
Meanwhile, the Central Highlands hill resort town of Da Lat is hosting a two-month (Nov 1-Dec 31) Da Lat Flower Festival themed of "Da Lat - City of Four seasons of Flowers."
The main ceremony of the ninth Da Lat Flower Festival will be held December 18 at Lam Vien Square, according to the Lam Dong People's Committee.
Some parts of the festival will be extended on popular demand until the end of the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) festival holiday, authorities said.

There will be nine special programs within the framework of the festival including: Bao Loc-Tea flavor, silk color; fashion show Silk-Heritage Road; Highland Paradise; Da Lat aspiration; National Festival of Rural Youth and Luong Dinh Cua Award; international display and exhibition of flowers and flowering plants; and an art program to welcome the new year of 2023.
The festival will also host: a tea-coffee-wine street; a hot-air balloon festival; a flower and vegetable market; a street carnival; travel to flower villages; conferences, scientific seminars, exhibitions, international trade fairs, cultural and art exchanges.
The Da Lat Flower Festival has been held every two years on eight occasions, attracting a large number of tourists. The ninth edition of the festival, planned for the end of 2021, was canceled because of the pandemic.
Da Lat is famous for its horticulture. Thousands of flower species are cultivated in the Central Highlands town, making its flower festival one of the most significant events for holidaymakers.
