Becamex-VSIP consortium eyes mega urban-industrial projects in central Vietnam province
A consortium of Becamex, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Co. (VSIP) and Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG) has shown interest in building two mega urban area-industrial park projects in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.
Becamex and VSIP are major industrial real estate developers, while the state-controlled VRG is the biggest rubber corporation in the country.

According to a conclusion following a recent meeting between Khanh Hoa authorities and Becamex, the two projects are the 2,400-hectare Ninh Xuan eco urban area-industrial park and the 500.8-hectare Nha Trang New City urban complex.
The Ninh Xuan project, located in Ninh Hoa town and next to National Highway 26, has three urban areas and one industrial park. Meanwhile, the Nha Trang New City project has two metropolitan areas located in Dien Khanh district and next to National Highway 27C.
The provincial authorities back Becamex-VSIP’s proposal to develop the two projects. Khanh Hoa Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan highlighted the projects’ advantages, including Khanh Hoa’s special development policy, prime locations, and traffic connectivity.
The two projects are in line with the Politburo’s resolution on developing Khanh Hoa province until 2030, he added.
Khanh Hoa authorities asked Becamex-VSIP to work with the provincial Department of Planning and Investment and relevant agencies to draft details and deploy the project properly.
Khanh Hoa, well-known for Nha Trang beach as a top tourism destination in Vietnam, is calling for private investments in 122 projects until 2025, with vision until 2030.
The province recorded a GRDP growth of 12.7% in the first half of 2024, the second-highest figure in Vietnam.
