Alterosa MK, a joint venture between Brazil’s Alterosa Group and MK Group of Vietnam, said it expects to receive more support from the two governments for investment expansion.

Celso Nunes Cio, creative director of Alterosa MK, made the statement at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Brazil on Monday (local time).

Chinh paid a visit to Brazil to attend the 2025 BRICS Summit and had bilateral activities in the country from July 4-8.

Alterosa MK operates in the field of payment solutions, including payment cards, smart cards, and fintech services.

PM Chinh said he appreciates the position and role of Alterosa Group in the Brazilian market and MK Group’s efforts to expand into Latin America and globally.

He noted that in the Vietnam-Brazil Strategic Partnership, cooperation in science, technology, and innovation has been identified as one of the key pillars.

Welcoming MK Group’s pioneering role in effectively carrying out investment cooperation activities abroad in general and in Brazil in particular, the government leader called on MK Group and Alterosa Group to continue paying attention to workers’ welfare and making greater contributions to community development and the overall socio-economic development of Brazil and Vietnam, as they pursue investment cooperation with Brazilian partners.

Introducing Vietnam’s ID card, which is integrated with multiple functions, tools, and data, the PM expressed his hope that MK and Alterosa will develop payment cards, smart cards, and fintech services for the Brazilian market.

With its extensive partner network, Alterosa MK is expected to serve as a bridge for cooperation, helping deepen Vietnam-Brazil ties in high-tech sectors to meet the development demands in the new era, he added.

MK Group was established in 1999 in Vietnam, specializing in digital security authentication solutions and smart cards. Over 26 years of development, MK Group and its member units constantly invest in researching solutions with high-tech gray matter content based on achievements and world technology trends to better serve security activities, e-government, finance-banking, and public transport.
