First luxury railway journey across Vietnam features Indochine architecture

PYS Travel has launched the first luxury railway journey across Vietnam named Sjourney, marking a new milestone in the railway tourism sector.

The seven-day, six-night journey, with the code SE61, departs every Wednesday from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. It stops at well-known destinations including Ninh Binh, Quang Binh, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet and concludes at Sai Gon Station the following Wednesday morning.

The train from HCMC to Hanoi, with the code SE62, departs on the same evening.

This train is a collaboration between PYS Travel, Vietnam Railway Transport Corporation, Gia Lam Train Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Railways Corporation, aiming to elevate Vietnam’s railway tourism offering and promote the country's image to the world.

According to PYS Travel, Sjourney is designed in a classic Indochine style, blending with modern amenities to elevate the passenger experience.

The train cabins are fitted out with furnishings made from high-quality wood, featuring comfortable beds and warm lighting to ensure maximum comfort for passengers.

On board, passengers can enjoy premium meals combining local and international cuisine, prepared by five-star hotel chefs.

Additionally, the journey includes exclusive sightseeing tours, specifically designed to help travellers explore the renowned destinations along the country.

In December 2024, the ticket price for each passenger will be $7,320, and from 2025, the price will increase to $8,610, including full-board meals throughout the journey.
