Gasoline, oil rise in Vietnam’s latest fuel price adjustment
Retail gasoline prices in Vietnam were raised by VND1,220-1,300 ($0.05) per liter on Friday, while the diesel oil price went up by VND890 ($0.04).
RON 95-III gasoline rose to VND22,790 ($0.96) per liter, while E5 RON 92 hit VND21,630 ($0.91).
The price of diesel increased to VND19,500 ($0.82) a liter, and that of kerosene went up VND860 to VND19,180 ($0.81) per liter. Mazut oil went up VND440 to VND15,720 ($0.66) per kilogram.

For this price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to maintain the level of deductions from different types of gasoline and oil for the national gasoline price stabilization fund.
Vietnam's consumer price index (CPI) in June rose 0.27% from May, according to the General Statistics Office. The major reason cited was rising food and electricity prices due to prolonged hot weather conditions and state utility Vietnam Electricity (EVN) adjusting the average retail price of electricity.
