Hue hotel voted fourth best in Southeast Asia
Azerai La Residence in the former imperial capital of Hue has been voted among the 10 best hotels in Southeast Asia by readers of U.S. travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
The hotel ranked fourth in the magazine's Readers Choice Awards 2022, after The Athenee Hotel in Thailand's Bangkok, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok.

Set on a two and a half-hectare site with 200 meters of frontage on the iconic Huong (Perfume) River, Azerai La Residence has 122 rooms and suites. The colonial mansion at the heart of the resort was built in 1930s as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure.
The mansion’s distinctive facade, its long horizonal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmarks of the streamline modern school of art deco architecture, according to the hotel website.
"Its two complementary wings, built in 2005, are contemporary in design yet echo elements of art deco aesthetics and embrace an expansive tropical garden and salt-water swimming pool."

Azerai La Residence has launched an elegant 17-meter cruise boat, offering guests one of the most stylish and exclusive ways to experience the Huong River.
The hotel is 1.5 kilometers from the Hue Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO-recognized heritage site. The Dong Ba Market, Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts, and An Dinh Palace are two kilometers away. The Phu Bai International Airport is a short 17 kilometer drive.
In September, it received Vietnam's Leading Boutique Hotel title at the World Travel Awards 2022 in Asia.
