Three Vietnamese boutique resorts win top Asian title
Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island, Azerai La Residence, and Legacy Yen Tu-MGallery were honored last week at World Travel Awards 2022 in Asia as Vietnam's leading boutique resorts.
Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island
Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island was awarded with Vietnam's Leading Boutique Beach Resort title.
Set in Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island off the southern province of Kien Giang, a few steps from Long Beach, Salinda Resort Phu Quoc Island offers accommodation with a restaurant, bar, fitness center, garden, private beach area and free bikes.
It features 121 luxury rooms, suites, and villas designed in contemporary style with an added local touch that creates an almost seamless transition from the inside out.
Each room category has unique wall art, showcasing the beauty of Vietnam and harmoniously blending luxury amenities with the natural wonders of the island.
Azerai La Residence
Azerai La Residence in Hue, Vietnam's former capital, received Vietnam's Leading Boutique Hotel title.
Azerai La Residence is 1.5 kilometers from the Hue Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO-recognized heritage site. Dong Ba Market, Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts, An Dinh Palace and Nam Giao Esplanade are within two kilometers away. Phu Bai International Airport is accessible via a 17 kilometers drive.
Set on a two and a half-hectare site with 200 meters of frontage on the fabled Huong (Perfume) River, Azerai La Residence, Hue has 122 rooms and suites. The colonial mansion at the heart of the resort was built in 1930s as part of the residence of the French Resident Superieure.
The mansion’s distinctive facade, its long horizonal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmark of the streamline moderne school of art deco architecture.
Its two complementary wings, built in 2005, are contemporary in design yet echo elements of art deco aesthetics and embrace an expansive tropical garden and salt-water swimming pool.
Legacy Yen Tu - MGallery
Legacy Yen Tu - MGallery in Uong Bi town, Quang Ninh province was granted Vietnam's Leading Boutique Resort title.
The resort offers five-star accommodation with a garden, bar and terrace. It features handcrafted materials and ancient construction methods by nearby villagers living in the surroundings for generations, creating a harmonious and pure atmosphere right from within the local community.
The nearest airport is Cat Bi International Airport in Hai Phong city, 49 kilometers from the hotel.
Vietnam has been named among Asia’s leading travel destinations in 2022 by World Travel Awards for its "amazing natural beauty combined with world-class levels of hospitality".
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Today, the brand is recognised globally as a hallmark of industry excellence.
