Korean touch adds functionality to Vietnamese fastfood joint

Chee-se Hoa Thanh, a pizza, fried chicken and donut joint in southern Tay Ninh province was recently featured by American magazine ArchDaily for its tasty tones of yellow and gray.

The world's most visited architecture website on Monday introduced "the interesting combination of colors and materials" of Chee-se Hoa Thanh to its slew of subscribers.

Inspired by the layers of melted cheese represented in the brand's identity, it continues to make big waves in Tay Ninh, following the success of the first store.

Foodies will be especially intrigued by its unique and exceptional design, overseen by Saigon-based Ksoul Studio.

"Ksoul has created a very special aesthetic, filling the space with layers of surprising emotions," the website noted.

"The bar and point of sale are designed neatly and squarely in the shape of a rectangle, with surely no more perfect surface choice than stainless steel, combined with glossy enamel tiles to bring a sense of harmony and cleanliness required for an F&B store," ArchDaily wrote.

In addition to Chee-se Hoa Thanh, ArchDaily introduced other Vietnamese locations like The Straw Pavilion near Ho Chi Minh City, Forest In The Sky at the gateway to Flamingo Dai Lai Resort in Vinh Phuc province, and Grand World Phu Quoc Welcome Center in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang.

Tay Ninh province, neighboring of HCMC, is home to Ba Den Mountain, boasting the highest peak in southeastern Vietnam, and Dau Tieng Lake, one of the largest man-made water bodies in Vietnam.
