Vietnam's General Department of Taxation has appointed Mai Son, head of the Hanoi Tax Department, as its deputy general director.
Son has 24 years of experience in the tax industry. He held the position of deputy director at the Hanoi Tax Department for four years and was appointed director of this department in April 2019.
In mid February, Mai Xuan Thanh was appointed acting director of the General Department of Taxation.
The leadership of the department includes Thanh and his deputies Dang Ngoc Minh, Vu Chi Hung, Phi Van Tuan and the newly-appointed Mai Son.
