The flower street opened from December 20, 2021 to February 6, 2022 in Splendora, a subdivision of the creative urban center Mailand Hanoi City, invested and developed by Posco Corporation Korea, a market leader in methodological construction.

During the event, the "Learning About Vietnam 2022" program, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UNESCO, UN-Habitat and Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracted thousands of visitors, including more than 150 ambassadors, senior diplomats, and representatives of international organizations in Vietnam and the ASEAN-AWCH community.

Traditional activities like calligraphy, lucky trees, painting, weaving, and making ceramics, conical hats, silk, and sweets, and Hanoi exhibitions were also prominent features.

"The cultural heritage values of old Hanoi were reproduced in the new, modern, and inspiring urban area of Mailand Hanoi City," the event organizers said in a release.

"The event also marked the new development and expansion of Splendora into Mailand Hanoi City, a creative city in terms of urban planning, design and cultural identity with the companionship of UNESCO and UN-Habitat."

Anti-pandemic measures were deployed at the event, with QR code scanning, temperature checks, hand disinfection, and mask wearing.
