In the last month of the year, the North-South Expressway’s Cam Lo-La Son section linking Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue is expected to be put into operation, while technical runs are set to be launched on three other sections, namely Mai Son-National Highway 45 in Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces, Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet in Binh Thuan province, and Phan Thiet-Dau Giay in Binh Thuan and Dong Nai provinces.

Meanwhile, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) plans to start construction of Tan Son Nhat International Airport’s T3 passenger terminal in December. The VND10.99 trillion ($448.4 million) project was approved by the government with a capacity of 20 million passengers a year, aiming to ease load for the airport’s T1 terminal.

ACV will also kick off construction of a runway, a taxiway and an apron under the Long Thanh International Airport project in neighbouring Dong Nai province. The project has completed the construction of fences and mine clearance.
