Vietjet reopens direct flights between Da Nang and Tokyo
Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet Air reopened Monday a direct flight from Danang city to Japanese capital Tokyo.
The route is operated with a daily frequency of round-trip flights. Each flight segment is over four hours and costs from VND684,000 ($28.32), excluding taxes and fees.

Currently, Vietjet is the only Vietnamese airline with direct flights connecting Danang and Tokyo (Haneda airport).
In June, Vietjet announced the launch of seven new international air routes linking the central city of Danang to Singapore, South Korea, and India.
On July 20, it operated the first flight from Da Nang to South Korea's biggest port city of Busan and reopened the Nha Trang-Busan route on July 21.
The carrier launched the Ho Chi Minh City-Busan route on July 25. The Hanoi-Busan route has resumed since the beginning of October with daily return flights.
Apart from the three routes to Busan, Vietjet currently operates six routes to Seoul including HCMC/Hanoi/Da Nang/Phu Quoc/Nha Trang/Hai Phong-Seoul, frequency from 1-2 flights per day on each route, and will continue to increase in the coming time.
Previously, at a new route launch ceremony held in Mumbai on June 22, the low-cost carrier officially revealed two new services from New Delhi and Mumbai to the resort island of Phu Quoc in Kien Giang province, starting from September 9.
The route connecting Phu Quoc with India's largest city, Mumbai, opened on September 8 with two round-trip flights per week.
Meanwhile, the route connecting Phu Quoc with the capital city of New Delhi officially serves customers from September 9 with three return flights per week.
