Vietnam among 40 most beautiful countries: US publication
Vietnam has secured the 36th position in the ranking of the 40 most beautiful countries in 2024 in a testament to its undeniable charm and appeal, according to US News & World Report.

The comprehensive evaluation process accentuates the unique attributes that distinguish Vietnam on the international stage.
Home to breathtaking landscapes and a rich cultural heritage, Vietnam has garnered recognition not only for its stunning natural beauty but also for its exquisite cuisine and warm hospitality.
With an overall score of 26.6 points, it excels in several categories, including its exceptional culinary offerings (63.7 points), picturesque landscapes (45.2 points), rich cultural attractions (41.6 points), and a compelling historical narrative (48 points).
The economic reforms initiated in 1986 have positioned Vietnam on the global stage, enhancing its competitiveness and underscoring its commitment to sustainable development, according to the publication.
As it embraces open trade and progressive industrial policies, the country invites travelers worldwide to immerse themselves in its vibrant culture and stunning scenery.

The US-based publication, which released this list on December 14, based its rankings on insights gathered from over 17,000 travelers and experts. Greece has been honored with the top ranking.
Vietnam welcomed over 15.8 million international travelers in the first 11 months, up over 40% year-on-year, according to the Vietnam Statistics Office.
