Vietnam’s bourse index lowest in a month
Vietnam's benchmark VN-Index lost 6.04 points, or 0.57%, to 1,048.98 on Wednesday, the lowest in nearly one month.
The Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), represented by the index, saw up to 271 losers and 115 gainers, with nearly 570 million shares changing hands for close to VND9.7 trillion ($412.55 million), a slight increase of VND100 billion from the previous session.

The cash flow mainly ran into three major groups, namely finance-banking, real estate and industry.
Up to 25 out of 30 blue chips declined, pushing their VN30 index down 8.41 points to 1,056.14.
Most bank stocks were in red, with the biggest losers being CTG of VietinBank (-1.37%), VPB of VPBank (-2.72%), STB of Sacombank (-1.54%), HDB of HDBank (-1.55%), TPB of TPBank (-1.97%).
VCB of Vietcombank and EIB of Eximbank were the only gainers in this group, expanding 0.57% and 2.31% respectively.
The real estate group also showed negative performance with most tickers falling. Among those were NVL of Novaland, down 2.02%; KBC of Kinhbac City Development Holding, 3.95%; NLG of Nam Long Group, 2.31%; DIG of DIG Corp. 2.3%; DXG of Dat Xanh Group 2.68%; and CEO of CEO Group 2.9%.
Meanwhile, aviation stocks performed well as VJC of Vietjet gained 1.11% and HVN of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines rose 0.4%.
Foreign investors turned net sellers on the HoSE to the tune of over VND470 ($20 billion) after net purchasing VND140 billion ($5.95 million) in the previous session.
The HNX-Index on the Hanoi bourse went down 2.4 points to 205.85, while the UpCOM-Index on the unlisted public company market fell 0.62 points to 78.11.
